Nursery fees

On accepting a place, a registration fee of £25 is payable. Your nursery fees are payable is advance and via a monthly standing order. Please note that late payment of nursery fees may result in the loss of your child’s nursery place.

What financial help is available in paying childcare fees?

New Starjumps nursery for Furzefield Centre, Potters Bar

Hertsmere Leisure is pleased to announce that they are opening their second Starjumps nursery to be located at the Furzefield Centre, Potters Bar. This follows the success of our first Nursery in Borehamwood which opened in September 2008. It received a ‘Good’ grading from Ofsted and has exceeded expectations with regard to number of children being enrolled.

Starjumps in Potters Bar will open early 2010 and offer care 50 weeks of the year Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm for 40 children from 3 months to 5 years of age with full and part time places.

Free Nursery Funding for 3 and 4 Year Olds

What is it?

All 3 and 4 year olds are able to benefit from a free part-time nursery education place, starting the term after their third birthday. This will provide 3 sessions per week for 38 weeks per year, (term time only). A session last for 5 hours.

Does Starjumps operate the nursery education grant?

Yes

Who gets it?

All 3 and 4 year olds are eligible for this funding starting the term after their 3rd birthday. The grant is paid directly to the Nursery – your invoice will be reduced accordingly.
