How will you manage my child’s behaviour?

We believe in teaching children about appropriate behaviour in a positive way. We speak to children in a calm manner and use positive language when explaining about right and wrong.

When is the nursery closed?

We are closed for all Bank Holidays, two weeks over Christmas and New Year, one week over Easter and a week in August. You will not be charged for these holidays.

Do I have to pay if my child does not attend?

Yes, because we will have included your child in our numbers and arranged the staffing accordingly.

How many children are there to each member of staff?

OFSTED’s national staff/child ratios regulations are –

1 : 4 for children under 3 years
1 : 8 for children aged 3 – 5 years

When will my child become entitled to receive a nursery education grant?

The term after your child’s third birthday, for a maximum of 6 terms. Your child is entitled to receive a nursery education grant the term after their third birthday, for a maximum of 6 terms. Please speak to your child’s Key Worker for more information.
