About the Nursery

Starjumps Nursery offers 40 places for children aged 2 – 5 years. It is open 48 weeks of the year, Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 6.00pm. We offer both full and part time places.

Meals

Our menu consists of fresh, nutritious and balanced meals. We provide breakfast, a hot lunch and afternoon tea. There is an additional charge for meals. See Nursery Fees

Our aims

• Provide a happy, safe and nurturing environment available for all children, individually tailored to meet their needs
• Work in partnership with parents/carers
• Provide affordable, high quality care and education
• Ensure staffing levels are always high

Nursery staff

The caring, approachable, and friendly staff have been carefully selected for their qualifications, experience and skills. Staff regularly attend training programmes to extend their knowledge and develop their skills.

Staff members called Key Workers are each responsible for a small group of children. Your Key Worker will be introduced to you at the earliest opportunity to ensure you and your child feel welcomed and keep you informed of his/her achievements, progress and development.

Each member of staff has undergone an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check and an induction programme informing them of the nursery’s policies.
