Easter and Summer Play Schemes

The Easter and summer holidays are coming. What do you want to do? We have so much going on over the holidays; you’re going to be spoilt for choice! We think Hertsmere’s children are awesome, and because you’re so awesome, we’ve lined up an amazing summer packed full of unbelievable activities for you!

Would you like to know what we’ve got in store? Here goes:

• ARSENAL – Learn how to play football the Arsenal way – Some of Arsenal’s top coaches will take you through your paces. Have you got what it takes?
• MUSICPLAY – You want to be in a rock band? Do you want to learn how to play instruments you’ve heard of and some very cool ones you’ve never seen before? What about trying your hand at mixing a full DJ set? Whatever music you’re into, we’ve got it.
• ARTPLAY – Have you got a creative and wild imagination? If you have, ARTPLAY is for you! We’ll bring all the materials, all you have to bring are your brilliant ideas and we can get creating! Paint, pencils, clay, hats, jewellery, in fact you can make almost anything you can think of and the best part is, you can take home everything you’ve made!
• DRAMAPLAY – Do you watch TV and think ‘I can act better than them?’ Well now’s your chance! Our DRAMAPLAY programme will offer you the chance to act, sing and dance. In fact, whatever your skills are, your here to have fun and learn some new ones. At the end of the week, you’ll be able to perform in your own production to a real live audience!
• SPORTPLAY – Are you a winner? The World Cup is getting close and the Olympics are only two years away.Whatever your sport – football, rugby, cricket, netball, tennis– we’ve got the facilities, coaches and equipment to start you on the road to the very top! Learn the skills and tactics taught to the professionals and also how to think like a world-class athlete.
