Parent and Toddler groups
A group for parents and carers with children under school age: most of the children are below the age of 3 years. Parents and carers remain with, and have responsibility for,
their children during the session. There is an opportunity for a range of play activities and to meet together and socialise. Most churches & community centres have parent & toddler
groups.

Pre-schools
Children between the ages of 2½ and 5 years can attend pre-schools. They offer opportunities to learn through play. Sessions range from 2½ - 4 hours term time
only, fees vary. All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 5 free sessions a week starting the term after their 3rd birthday. For more information contact Children’s Information
